Project 2, Example One-Pager

This example is about a different decision, so it shows the format without touching Project 2. Read the one-pager the way your reader would, then use the panel to see what each part does.

Recommendation: keep the extension policy

Decision document. I am asking the department chair to approve keeping the extension policy for Spring 2027, by November 13.

Bottom line. The policy rewards students who plan ahead. Less work goes missing, and most work that needs more time is now arranged before the due date instead of penalized after it.

What I recommend

Limits and next step. This compares one term under each policy, with different students and no control group, so some of the change may have other causes. If the June report shows late work back near its old level, I will propose a change.
